Days 4-6 Edinburgh Short Film Festival 2022

The 12th Edinburgh Short Film Festival in full swing, thanks to the visiting filmmakers from Italy, Turkey, Ireland, Iceland and around the UK who made it along!
Great to see so many people back in the cinema again and see you at the weekend for our final 3 nights!

The 2022 Adriatic Film Festival hosts the ESFF

It was wonderful to be at Adriatic Film Festival to present a programme of Scottish Shorts, including Go Home by Razan Madhoon and What’s Left To Say by George Farrow-Hawkins.  A great festival with a full programme of excellent short film.

Congratulations to Guido and his fabulous and hard-working team for another terrific edition and a fascinating programme!

ESFF Showcases at the 2022 Fastnet Film Festival

We’re excited to be presenting a programme of Scottish shorts at the 2022 edition of the Fastnet Film Festival in Ireland!

The programme is scheduled for Thursday May 26th at 12:15pm. Following the screening, we’re participating in a panel discussion with director Virginia Heath and producer Grant Keir on Scottish film and short film.

ESFF 10th Anniversary Special Weekend 18th – 20th February 2022

Two years in the planning, The Edinburgh Short Film Festival is finally celebrating it’s 10th anniversary with special screenings of our 10 Years Best films at The Filmhouse in February!
