We are excited to launch the Edinburgh Short Film Festival this evening at Summerhall in the Red Lecture Theatre. We have a fantastic programme in store, ranging from art house shorts and animation, to edge-of-your-seat thrillers and tear jerking drama. In this event you’ll catch award-winning shorts as they make their away through the international film festival circuit, as well as debut screenings from emerging filmmakers including the world premiere of Khaliq Akbar’s film ‘Unbearable’. We’ve had more submissions than ever this year, from countries as far afield as USA, Italy and Germany, we’ve also got a clutch of world-class, home-grown shorts on offer.
