The Sardinia Film Festival was founded in 2006 and runs for one week in the delightfully picturesque towns in the north of Sardinia. Some 500 miles from mainland Italy, Sardinia’s isolation from mainland Europe has given it a unique culture and flavour, from the Catalan/Moorish architecture to its Italian cuisine and it’s closeness to French-speaking Corsica, Sardinia’s cosmopolitan culture and history has long been subject to foreign influences, including Vikings to the Bourbons and now it’s […]

Thanks to Alexandra Person for the photography and filming!
We were delighted to be invited to programme for the Fastnet Film Festival, based in Schull in County Cork in the South West of Ireland recently, and so it was that we took the short flight over to Cork for the opening of the FFF 2017. Now in it’s 9th year, the Fastnet Film Festival, is possibly the only film festival in the world that doesn’t have a cinema but despite this seemingly fatal handicap, […]
We were excited that our event & photography co-ordinator, Alice Shone was able to represent us at the launch of the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2017, the Far East’s biggest dedicated short film event! Not only did lucky Alice get to swank it up at the launch event but she also met the festival director, Seigo Tono, and take in some rather fancy Japanese hospitality!
We’re screening at SSFF & A 2017 on Wednesday June […]
We recently took a stroll through the decayed hulk that is the Leith Theatre, the 1500 auditorium is like being inside a beached whale while it’s magnificently decaying corridors are waiting to be filled again!
Jack Hunter, head of the Leith Trust gave us the gen on the history and changing times of the Leith Theatre, opened in 1928 and finally abandoned in 1989, it’s finally going to see it’s first major arts event in nearly 30 […]

Hidden Door have been throwing open the doors and literally sweeping away the dust and ashes of history, to open these spaces up to human activity and it’s like finding a family […]

The festival has been running since 2009 with the aim of bringing together established and first-time filmmakers to celebrate short film and short film-making in the convivial and relaxed atmosphere of an Irish village. They show the competition films in the village […]
