We’re excited to announce our 2023 programme!
The 13th edition of the Edinburgh Short Film Festival opens on Thursday 26th October and runs to Sunday 5th November, from Cannes winners to Clermont-Ferrand Winners and winners from a host of international film festivals, alongside the best Scottish and UK short films of 2023, we’re also hosting guest programmes from our international partner festivals.

We’re delighted to announce that we are planning a partnership with FICBUEU, the International Film Festival of Bueu, in Galicia which has been running since 2008.
FICBUEU have a special focus on Galician short film and 10 screening sessions, more than 100 international short films, round tables, talks, Galician cinema award, music, education and lots of activities.
Looking forward to working with them on programming so watch this space!
