Film podcast Cinetopia March edition now out!

Delighted to present the second of our new radio show ‘Cinetopia’ has been published via our collaboration with Radio Summerhall!

This week we’re reviewing ‘The Shape of Water’ as well as ‘Lady Bird’ we’re discussing our Oscar predictions of last week and
there’s an interview on animation with Simon Hart, director of Puppet Animation Scotland!

Cinetopia – ESFF produces new radio film show

Covering everything from the latest film reviews, interviews, updates from the world of film and film events almost everywhere, ‘Cinetopia’ is a new monthly radio show produced by some of the people behind the Edinburgh Short Film Festival!

We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be working with a new partner festival for 2018, Firenze FilmCorti in Florence!

Firenze FilmCorti are holding their 5th edition in Florence from June 14-June 16 2018 and where better to have a short film festival?

We’re delighted that a couple of films screened at the 2017 Edinburgh Short Film Festival, animated short Fox and The Whale by Robin Joseph and the Kenyan-shot drama Watu Wote/All of Us by Katja Benrath by have been nominated for Oscars at this year’s Academy Awards!

To the Lighthouse – The Fastnet Film Festival

At the closing night of the 2017 Edinburgh Short Film Festival, we were able to give a warm welcome to Aidan Stanley the Chairman of the Fastnet Film Festival, who had travelled from Schull in West Cork, where the festival is based, to this year’s events in Edinburgh.
