We're excited to put together a programme of some of our favourite animationfor our partners Puppet Animation Scotland and the Manipulate Festival of Visual Theatre & Animation!

Packed with some of the best international animation screened at the 2022 Edinburgh Short Film Festival Including our Best Animation winner, The Awakening of the Insects by Stephanie Lansaque & Francois Leroy

And animation from Australia. France, Turkey, Germany, Spain and Scotland.

SCREEN NETS – Now Recruiting – DEADLINE Noon 17th February 2023
Screen NETS Programme - the on-the-job fully paid training programme in
technical, craft and production roles for Film and Scripted TV drama in
Scotland - is now in recruitment.

We will recruit for trainees across 2 strands.
● Strand 1 will recruit 6 trainees for up to 9 months from across
Scotland who have some basic experience or transferable skills from
other jobs or work you think is relevant.
● Strand 2 will recruit 4 trainees/participants for up to 6 months who
have already completed a short structured trainee programme on a
drama series but would like further placements to progress OR have
strong direct transferable skills from another sector OR Currently be
established in the industry in a drama crew role and now moving into
directing.

Departments:
Strand 1: Production Accounts; Production Office; Locations; Make-Up
and Location Sound, Assistant Directing (AD)
Strand 2: Art Dept; Camera; Editing and Shadowing Director
You must be over 21 and based in Scotland to apply.
We are funded by Screen Scotland and the productions we work with.
Screen NETS is hosted by Screen Academy Scotland at Edinburgh Napier
