We were very pleased to able to present the postponed 2020 ESFF at Summerhall this weekend!

Although audience numbers were much smaller than normal, the programme was as strong as any previous edition, with Palme D’Or nominees, Sundance winners, BAFTA winners and a whole roster of some of the best films of last year!

We’d like to thank all the filmmakers for sending us their films,  Steph Leach and the team at Summerhall for their determination and co-operation in holding the event as well as their great support since November 2020, Melanie Toutakova our technical director and photographer, Rebecca Selby-Heard for co-ordinating the juries, Carys Evans for programming, Puppet Animation Scotland for sponsoring the Animation Award, Amanda Rogers for editing the trailer and the jury members for participating in the awards programme.
