Two years in the planning, The Edinburgh Short Film Festival is finally celebrating it’s 10th anniversary with special screenings of our 10 Years Best films at The Filmhouse in February!

At last, we’re FINALLY able to present our 10th Anniversary best film programmes to live audiences. We’re understandably thrilled the event will go ahead at the Filmhouse featuring our award winners and the best films screened at the ESFF since we launched in 2011!

ESFF 2022 Now Open For Entries!

The Edinburgh Short Film Festival is now open for entries for our 2022 edition!

The 2022 edition will run October  28th to November 13th 2022 and any international or UK film under 25 minutes of any genre is eligible for entry.

The Early Bird Deadline is February 28th 2022, all entries will be eligible for our awards and we will also be programming short film showcases for festivals internationally.
